I am an oil painter who specializes in portraits and animal studies, driven by a deep fascination with capturing the essence of life itself. My path to art was unconventional. While pursuing a degree in zoology, I discovered that my true calling lay not in studying life through a scientific lens, but in celebrating it through paint and brushwork. The decision to leave my studies and pursue painting full-time wasn't easy—family and friends had understandable concerns, and admittedly, I had no backup plan. But sometimes the most important decisions require a leap of faith.

That leap has led me to dedicate myself entirely to exploring the profound connection between artist and subject. Whether working on a human portrait or an animal study, I'm drawn to those quiet, telling moments that reveal something deeper about who or what I'm painting.
