'Cabin in Kyvannet' Oil on Canvas Board Plein Air Painting

This was painted out in the open air in Kyvannet (pronouned shi-va-na), Norway alongside my sister. In winter, the limited hours of sunlight there meant that we were racing the sun to complete the painting which has resulted in a painted loose and full of life. The snow was deep where we decided to set up our easels on the shore of the frozen laek, but well worth it for the view of one of the only places the sunlight touched.

Size including the frame is 42×34.5cm

Framed in a dark grey frame with art glass, a near reflectionless glass that offers protection for the painting without reflections obstructing the view of the piece. Fitted with and attachment at the back of the frame to be hung on a hook.
